So Space1026 has the Lobot Gallery "Paradise" Installation & Dinner tonight here's the info and see you there!!!!

Space 1026 is proud to present "Paradise Now", a group installation and dinner.
The idea is based on creating your own utopia by claiming space to make and experience art. What we'd like to bring to the table is a piece of the gold rush mentality, staking a claim on some area and hoping to hit gold. It seems the main similarities between 1026 and LoBot is that idea, of having a home for ideas, action and fun. Lots of fun! Responding to a distorted entertainment complex and a DIY ethos, we play both god and janitor by using our personal visions to physically create a more salient experience of art, music and everything else in the universe that we have at our almost limitless disposal. Wow. Most importantly though, it's about friendship and community. Holding a resolve across distances, to make what you want to make, to stay up too late drawing and to perform the occasional drunken speech, fall, tattoo etc. the stuff that makes everyone laugh so hard they wake up with their ribs aching more than their head.
